For the third time in a row, the Postmusik Salzburg was invited to provide the musical accompaniment to the parade at the opening of the Salzburg Festival Ball. At the square in front of the “House for Mozart” a show program was performed together with folk dancers and singers from Salzburg. Thereafter the ball guests were picked up at the old residence of the archbishop of Salzburg for a pageant. Then the orchestra played a short concert in the Felsenreitschule until the official opening of the ball.
