2. Ticket purchase and ticket allocation procedure
A) ONLINE TICKET PURCHASE
Tickets can be booked directly at www.postmusik-salzburg.at (if available via the interactive fixture list). Online ticket purchases are automatically confirmed by e-mail. As not all available seats are sold via the website, tickets may still be available for concerts even though they are labelled as sold out online.
B) TICKET ORDERING AND DIRECT SALES
Tickets can be ordered from all musicians of Postmusik Salzburg and the treasurer:
Ludwig Deopito
Haunspergstraße 15
5020 Salzburg
can only be made by telephone(telephone number: 0677/62676714) or by e-mail(ticket@postmusik-salzburg.at).
If the tickets for the concert are categorised, this must be stated when ordering, otherwise Postmusik Salzburg will allocate them freely.
C) EVENING BOX OFFICE
As a rule, tickets are available at the box office at the concert venue. However, there is no guarantee that there will be enough tickets available to allow all potential visitors to enter via the box office.
3. Personalisation of tickets
Tickets for Postmusik concerts may be personalised and the surname and first name of the ticket purchaser or concertgoer will be printed on the ticket. Should it be necessary in connection with Covid-19, the telephone number and e-mail address (if available) must be provided at the time of purchase for official contact. In the case of personalisation, only the person named on the card is authorised to enter the concert. A photo ID must be presented to the access control at the entrance without being asked.
4. Seat allocation
If fixed seats have been allocated, seats will be allocated in compliance with the legal framework. The assigned seats must be strictly adhered to. However, Postmusik Salzburg reserves the right to provide seats in the same category other than those listed on the ticket for organisational reasons. The instructions of the theatre staff must also be followed.
In the case of free seating, visitors are responsible for choosing their own seats; Postmusik Salzburg does not guarantee a certain quality of seat and there is no entitlement to a refund or reduction of the admission price.
5. Right of cancellation
The right of cancellation in distance selling in accordance with § 11 FAGG does not apply to the purchase of admission tickets, as these are leisure services within the meaning of § 18 (1) Z 10 FAGG.
6. Ticket dispatch and e-ticket
E-tickets are sent free of charge by e-mail.
From one week before the concert, it is only possible to book tickets yourself as an e-ticket or to collect them by prior arrangement with the cashier or to deposit them at the box office.
7. Payment
Payment for online purchases is made immediately after confirmation of the purchase and before delivery of the e-tickets. In addition to payment via PayPal and credit card, payment can also be made by instant bank transfer (charges to be borne by the purchaser). Cash payment can only be made at ticket sales by musicians of Postmusik Salzburg or at the cashier.
8. Returns and exchanges
Ticket orders and purchases are binding in any form. Optional ticket reservations are not possible, nor are returns and exchanges of purchased or ordered tickets.
It is the responsibility of the purchaser to check the information on the tickets immediately upon receipt. In the event of any errors, the cashier must be contacted immediately.
9. Special regulation Covid-19
Should it be impossible to attend a concert due to official measures in connection with the Covid-19 pandemic, the ticket price will be refunded upon presentation of written proof.
If required by law, Postmusik Salzburg has drawn up a prevention concept approved by the health authorities to contain the Covid-19 pandemic. This will be adapted to the current situation as necessary.
The prevention concept may also include safety regulations for the public, which must be followed without exception. Persistent failure to comply with these safety regulations may, if necessary, result in the persons concerned being refused entry and/or being asked to leave. In this case, the purchase price will not be refunded. The persons responsible for safety are instructed to instruct the audience on appropriate behaviour and to work towards compliance with the safety regulations.
Despite all due care and adherence to the prevention concept, Postmusik cannot accept any liability for infections or resulting consequential damage. Attending the concerts and staying in the concert venues is always at your own risk.
10. Commercial and private resale or transfer
The purchase for commercial or private resale or the transfer of tickets is prohibited without prior written consent. Point 3 also applies in the event of consent. Furthermore, it is not permitted to offer admission tickets to the public via internet auctions and marketplaces or on the radio, in the press or in any other way. Passing on discounted tickets (especially youth tickets, press tickets) is prohibited. Postmusik Salzburg reserves the right to refuse future ticket purchases to persons who violate this prohibition, to block existing tickets without replacement and to take further legal action.
11. Changes to the cast and programme
Changes to the cast and programme as well as changes to starting times do not entitle ticket holders to return tickets. In the event of changes, Postmusik Salzburg will do its utmost to inform ticket purchasers to a reasonable extent. However, it is the customer’s responsibility to find out about any changes themselves. The latest information can be found on our website www.postmusik-salzburg.at
12. Concert cancellations
In the event of a concert cancellation, only the ticket price will be refunded. After half of the planned concert duration, the concert is deemed to have been played; in the event of an earlier cancellation, the admission fee will be refunded on a pro rata basis. Any further claims by purchasers are excluded. The ticket must be redeemed within 3 months of the date of the cancelled concert. After that, any claim expires.
13. Image and sound recordings during concerts
All types of image and sound recordings as well as the use of mobile phones are prohibited during Postmusik Salzburg concerts. In the case of photo, television and video recordings by Postmusik Salzburg or by authorised third parties, visitors declare their consent to any image recordings of their person and the associated use.
14. Validity of the venue-related house rules
The respective house rules of the venue operator apply in all venues. By entering a venue, the house rules are expressly recognised.
15. Prices and taxes
All prices are quoted in euros. There is no statutory value added tax.
Final provisions
These concert terms and conditions are available exclusively in German. They are subject to Austrian law, to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For disputes of any kind, the competent court in Salzburg is agreed as the exclusive place of jurisdiction.
